The Reverend Dr. William Thomas Jr.

Pastor Bill

Pastor Bill continues combine his passions, music, storytelling, and proclaiming the Good News.  He became the musician and choir director at his church in Ohio while still a teenager and remained in that capacity until he finished undergraduate school.  Bill sang and danced on Broadway for many years, and then moved to Los Angeles where he worked in TV and film, including the much beloved "Bruce Almighty."  Bill received an NAACP Image Award nomination for his portrayal of "Cool Charles" in the TV series Frank's Place.

For nearly a generation, Bill served as Music Coordinator for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) General Assembly.

Bill was awarded the Doctor of Ministry Degree from Claremont School of Theology in 2012, along with a citation for academic excellence.

Says Bill: At Little White Chapel, there exists a special place of equal honor for all persons of goodwill, because Christ hosts the table.  We don't claim to have all the answers, but our faith journey has revealed that everyone shares a part of the Truth.  We are working through the fear of the unknown, and the fear of what others think to proclaim the Love and acceptance of God.
