CWF-Christian Women's Fellowship

A new CWF group has been formed to accommodate working women.  Evening meetings will be held on the third Tuesday of each month.  Our group will focus on serving through active participation in outreach projects.  Our first project will be working through Family Services of Burbank.  A new transitional living group home will open soon, housing six young adults who are "aging out" (18 years old) of the foster care system.  This home, named "Linden House", will help the teenagers develop life skills in a sheltered environment, with the goal of transitioning them into  healthy, educated, working, independent adults.  Please contact Brandy Sholtis at rcknrolrbl@aol.com if you would like to help us make a positive difference in the lives of these deserving young people.  We welcome all helpers..male or female, members or nonmembers of LWC, young or old.  Join us!

Week of Compassion, Quadrennial 2010

All women are invited to join with us in worship, fellowship and service.  This includes members of our church and others who accept the purpose of the Christian Women's Fellowship. The purpose of CWF is to provide opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education and creative ministries to enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the Church of Jesus Christ.
